The Augusta Athletic Department manages and funds sports and sport activities at all levels, including elementary, middle, and high school.  At the elementary level, we offer archery, basketball, cheerleading, and cross country.  For middle school grades, we offer archery, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, track & field, and volleyball.  We offer the following varsity sports: archery, baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, golf, softball, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.

The mission of the Augusta Independent Schools Athletic Department is to provide an athletics program that represents the highest standard of integrity which enhances the educational philosophy of Augusta, complements and provides services in support of the school's mission, supports the total development of the student athlete, and provides opportunities for success at the highest level of interscholastic competition.
